Northamptonshire Wedding Photography at Staverton Park Golf Club, for the Wedding of Carl & Sam.
The beautiful historic location of Charwelton Church was the venue for Carl & Sam’s April wedding. The church can be dated back to the 15th century, and is accessed along a single track road through open farmland.
The happy couple were blessed with what was probably the first true day of spring, with glorious sunshine, but still a very cold wind which was certainly felt whilst doing the formal photographs at the church.
Sam looked beautiful, and seemed surprisingly calm leading up to the early 11.00am ceremony. It was interesting to see the minister embracing technology for the vows (see photos), and after a beautiful service they were then transported to the De Vere venue at Staverton Park Golf Club for their drinks reception in a vintage Bentley, but the roof did stay up for the journey.
As Carl’s hobby is shooting, the theme was very much focused around this. With some very clever uses for empty shotgun cartridges for the seating plan, and beautiful birdcages on each table.
It was a pleasure to be a part of their big day, and all of their guests had a fantastic time. The lucky couple were then jetting off to Cuba for their honeymoon.
Below is a selection of some photographs from the day:
