Event Photography Northampton – Hannah Payne Memorial Trust
We were delighted to be invited back again this year to photograph the Hannah Memorial Trust Annual Ball. The event is held at the fabulous Hangar One at Sywell Aerodrome in Northampton, and this year was bigger and better than ever before. With 500 guests attending, it was going to a very busy night for us.
The charity was established after the tragic death of Hannah, a young and talented 17 year old girl from Mears Ashby, Northamptonshire in January 2006. The trust creates and maintains family rooms in hospitals providing comfortable, well equipped areas for the family and friends of patients only a moment away from their bedside.
The first Hannah Payne room was officially opened on the 24th August 2011. The project has provided a family room in the A&E department of Northampton General Hospital for relatives and family of seriously ill patients.
We had set up our mobile studio, and guests had the opportunity to be photographed during the evening. We were also printing photographs on site using the latest die sublimation process, and guests could go home with a memory of the night. We also contribute a percentage of our sales to the trust, as it is a very worthwhile cause.
James Argent (Arg from TOWIE) who was booked for the evening had to pull out late on friday night, so with quick and careful planning, in an X-Factor style the room was introduced to their ‘local celeb’ Edward ‘Arg’ Mills from The Only Way is Farming and the crowd gave him a rapturous reception.
After dinner the evening progressed with a charity auction, live music was provided by Slim 47 and everyone had a fantastic night.
Below are just a few photographs taken n the night:
