During the early summer of 2016, I had the privilege to document the beautiful Cranford Hall wedding of James and Rose.
I have now been to Cranford Hall on many occasions and it has certainly become one of my favourite venues in the county of Northamptonshire. The weather was good, the people involved were lovely, so I was really looking forward to having a great day.
My day started by arriving in Raunds at the family home of Rose’s parents for 10.00am, where she was getting ready with her bridesmaids. The ceremony was taking place at the nearby St. Peters Church, so thankfully the journey to church was only going to take ten minutes. Rose looked absolutely beautiful in her dress (supplied by Courtyard Bridal Boutique in Kettering). With the bridal preparations all completed, the wedding party made the short journey to the church.
The ceremony was just lovely, although once again I was unable to get too close to the action, as an increasing number of vicars do like to keep photographers at a safe distance? But I managed to make sure I documented all of the key moments. With all of the legalities completed at the church and a very impressive confetti moment, it was time to leave Raunds and head off to Cranford Hall for their wedding reception.
Cranford Hall is a stunning 18th century Georgian Mansion and is still the family home of the Robinson family. You arrive up a long and winding driveway, to a very impressive entrance which nestles amongst lovely parkland. At the rear of the main house are extensive private gardens, where guests can sit outside and relax before taking their seats in ‘the Studio’, which was beautifully dressed to host the wedding breakfast.
With the meal and speeches completed, everyone was able to relax and enjoy the rest of the evening and get ready to party!
Shortly after the first dance, I started to say my goodbyes to James & Rose. But as the music was provided by the brilliant Big Bopper Entertainment, DJ Gary (Half Pint) made sure that guests danced off their dinner, so I did hang around to capture some of the action.
Below are just a few images from the day:
